12:30pm March 31st (Southampton game) - Stratford Park - Olympic Park
Hello WHO...

I had a very enjoyable stroll from Stratford Park to the Olympic Park yesterday.

I will be doing a similar stroll before the next home game vs. Southampton on 31st March 2018. A few friends from KUMB will be there too.

We'll get to Stratford Park at 12:30 and will hang around until 1pm at which point we'll set off. NOTE one hour later than yesterday.

More details here:

Cheers!

It seems to me that the only real difference between the stroll and the originally planned march was the lack of a figurehead/face fo blame/fawn over - all else seems the same to me.

A "stroll" to all the remaining home games seems to me to be well in order - it's done & dusted before the game and the media will keep more than one eye on it in the hope that it all kicks off.

It's like this genius; You don't necessarily have to wait until the end of the season to know your fate.
It's just possible that we could be safe before we play Everton. If that's the case I would expect a massive march/demo to take place against the board on the final day, and I'll be an enthusiastic participant.

Well, you're a bit of lying cunt aren't you. I said neither of those things you attribute to me. If you're going to take issue with posters it might help if you're at least honest.

To those who say hold protests until Premiership status is secured I ask the question. How are you going to protest during the close season.

What the fuck has happened to our fans.

Apparent!y, anyone who is now against the board or the stadium used to be the opposite, and the person posting is definitely THE ONLY person who has EVER been against them from the beginning. Petty fucking one upmanship, how old are we?

How that person can think that doesn't even bear explanation, even in this fucked up internet world of social media uber cunts.

Our fans have become snidey cunts and it is a very sad situation.

Re: 12:30pm March 31st (Southampton game) - Stratford Park - Olympic Park
Yeah, yesterday's pre-match march was clearly a bad idea in hindsight, affecting the players so much they couldn't even win more than 3-0 ;-)

Your whole argument is flawed mate.

Anyway, to everyone else, see you on the next one! COYI.

So according to you I'm a dick and a cunt for voicing an opinion, an opinion that I suspect the vast majority of supporters agree with, judging by the pathetic turnout of the 'march'.

Seeing as you're one of the hard of thinking kind of cunts that frequent this site, I'd say you probably thought that the pervs and their brass were great a few years back. Just like most people on here, though I doubt you'll admit it.
Whereas I've been against them from the moment they showed an interest in the club. Just like I've been totally against the OS from long before we got it.

But then according to you I'm a cunt because I think marches shouldn't be held until the club have retained their PL status.

I think you're lashing out because deep down you know I'm right.

They can never be forgiven for what they have done and how they act.

Yeah, 50-100 of us joined up with several hundred others. We were close to a thousand by the end.

The time for a protest is whenever protesters feel it necessary to protest.

Don't like it, don't join in, and enjoy doing whatever it was you were doing between 1 and 2pm instead.

Re: 12:30pm March 31st (Southampton game) - Stratford Park - Olympic Park
Ha, ha. Between 50-100 you say. That's so low it's hardly worth counting, so I'm pleased to see that the vast majority of West Ham supporters gave it a swerve.

As I said before the time for protest is a) when we're safe 1/25 or b) when we're down 9/1

In the meantime stop behaving like a load of fucking scousers.

RE: "What was dopey about it, and what were you doing instead? "

DON'T worry about those who fail to read the reports!

First 'stroll' on the 10th March 2018, it was 200.

Today FSF Caseworker Amanda Jacks is there and the numbers are HIGHER, so WELL DONE to all;

Hundreds of West Ham fans protested against the board outside the London Stadium ahead of their clash with Southampton.

The supporters, angry at the way the club is being run, congregated outside Stratford station before making their way to the ground.

Once there the supporters, many of whom were carrying banners, marched around the stadium singing anti-board songs.

Security inside the ground has been beefed up after trouble flared at the last home match against Burnley on March 10.

A security barrier has been erected close to the directors' box, where joint-owner David Sullivan was struck by a coin at the Burnley game.

Sullivan will be in the directors' box for the Saints game, but in a seat a few rows back from his usual one.

At least protesting this way gets a point across without causing mayhem on the pitch. The players put a shift in today, yes about time, now they know what they need to do - turn up for a change.

West Ham supporters staged a protest march against the Premier League club’s beleaguered owners before the match against Southampton on Saturday.

Hammers fans are furious at the way the club has been run following the move from their historic Upton Park ground to the unpopular Olympic Stadium in east London.

They congregated outside Stratford station before making their way to the ground.

The supporters, many of whom were carrying banners, marched around the stadium singing anti-board songs.

West Ham are languishing close to the Premier League relegation zone and ill-feeling among fans has boiled over in recent weeks.

Security inside the ground has been beefed up after serious crowd disturbances tarnished West Ham’s last home match against Burnley on March 10.

Fans invaded the pitch during the defeat, while others threw missiles toward West Ham co-owners David Sullivan, who was struck by a coin, and David Gold. They were forced to flee their seats.

In response to those incidents, a security barrier has been erected close to the directors’ box.

Sullivan will be in the directors’ box for the Saints game, but in a seat a few rows back from his usual one.

West Ham fans protest march ahead of Premier League clash against Southampton
It's not quite on the scale originally hoped but a demonstration went ahead

Estimates of between 400 and 1000 West Ham fans got together and marched to the London Stadium in protest to the West Ham board of directors ahead of the game against Southampton.

A protest was originally planned before the Burnley game three weeks ago but was called off after the Real West Ham Fans Action Group - who have now dropped the "Action Group" from their title - came to a compromise with the Hammers owners.

However, ahead of the Saints game, other supporters groups and the Real West Ham fans came together to march to the stadium ahead of the relegation six-pointer at Stratford.

It was certainly not on the scale that was originally planned for three weeks ago, when thousands were expected to attend before it was soddenly shelved following a meeting between RWHFAG and Hammers vice-chairman Karren Brady.

The low-key demonstration took place and passed off without any incident according to eye-witnesses.

A spokesman for the RWHFG told football.london: "We are supporting the static protest for two core reasons - to demonstrate to the board that our issues are with the way the club is run - we are NOT protesting against the team AND to allow supporters to vent their frustrations and ire lawfully before the game so that everyone can concentrate solely on getting behind the team during the game.

Re: 12:30pm March 31st (Southampton game) - Stratford Park - Olympic Park
I don't see how a few hundred old geezers walking together through the wasteland of the Olympic park is going to help matters.

I'm pretty sure that the scum who own and ru(i)n the club have got the message that they're strongly disliked by many West Ham fans. If they haven't, a march isn't going to change things. It's certainly not going to get us a new home or brilliant team any time soon.

The only thing that matters right now is that the club doesn't get relegated again, and any more demonstrating against SGB will not help in that aim.

Forget this gormless 'organised' walk. Just walk to the ground and truly support the team.

The time for demo's will be when we're safe (odds of 1/3) or when we're down (5/2)
